When is the pool heated and open for swimming?
Our outdoor pool is heated to up to 32 °C and is open from March to November.
Is the pool big enough for swimming laps?
Yes! At 12 metres long, our pool is perfect for swimming a few laps.
And if you’re in the mood for something less energetic, simply take a dip, float around for a while and head back to your sun lounger.
What can I enjoy in the Forsterhof garden?
Sun loungers in both sunny and shady spots, a lovely terrace for leisurely breakfasts, afternoon aperitivi and homemade cakes. Or simply find a quiet corner, settle in with a good book and enjoy doing absolutely nothing.
Can I have breakfast outside in the garden?
Yes, breakfast is served on our terrace every day from 8:00 to 11:00 am, with views of the garden and the soft morning sunlight. And if you’re in no hurry, you’re welcome to linger a little longer and simply enjoy the morning.
Can I order drinks and snacks by the pool?
Yes! We’re happy to serve drinks and snacks on the sunbathing lawn.
For hygiene reasons, however, eating and drinking aren’t permitted in the pool or directly at the pool’s edge.
Where can I relax at the Forsterhof on rainy days or in winter?
When the weather isn’t quite so inviting, it’s time to get cosy indoors. Our lounge, with its crackling fireplace and library, is the perfect place to curl up with a book, enjoy a chat or simply do nothing at all. And if you’re staying in the Marie or Giardino Suite, you’ll also have your very own private sauna right in your room.
Does the Forsterhof have a wellness or spa area?
Not a traditional spa. Instead, we offer something a little different: our Private Room Spa concept.
Selected rooms and suites come with their own private sauna or hot tub, exclusively for you to enjoy. Any time of day or night, with no bookings, no time slots and no other guests. Just your own little space to unwind.
Where can I book a massage or spa treatment near the Forsterhof?
We don’t offer massages or spa treatments at the Forsterhof itself, but if you’re in the mood for a little extra pampering, you’ll find plenty of options at the Merano Thermal Baths. As our guest, you’ll receive a 10 % discount on treatments and 20 % off admission to the pools and saunas.
