How to reach us Arriving in Lagundo/Algund by car or by train
If you are coming from the Brenner motorway, take the exit Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd. Then take the freeway MeBo to Merano/Meran. In Lagundo/Algund, take the Val Venosta state road, which will lead you to the village of Foresta/Forst. Before the “Forst-Brewery”, turn right into the “Via Birreria/Brauhausstraße” and continue until you reach the number 45. You are now at the Forsterhof!
Travel by train: Get off at the main train station of Merano/Meran. In front of the station, there is the Citybus stop no. 237 , which leaves every hour to the village of Foresta/Forst near Lagundo/Algund and takes you to the Forsterhof.
From Germany, the Europe-Special railway line offers five daily connections from Munich to Bolzano/Bozen. And with the "Anschlussticket Südtirol" (connection ticket South Tyrol) you can get from Bolzano/Bozen to your accommodation in Lagundo/Algund on the day of arrival and back to Bolzano/Bozen on the day of departure.

By car: Take the Brennero motorway and follow the signs towards Merano. Lagundo, in South Tyrol, is approximately 114 km from Innsbruck, 311 km from Munich and 353 km from Milan.
By train: From Merano train station, you can easily reach us by bus or taxi. The Forsterhof is just 5 km away.
By plane: The Bolzano Airport is around 30 km from the Forsterhof and is served by airlines including SkyAlps. From there, it’s approximately a 25-minute drive by car or private transfer.

Merano is just 5 km away, while Bolzano is around 20 km from the Forsterhof.

Yes! We offer complimentary parking in our outdoor car park and underground garage, with enough spaces for all our guests. Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’d prefer a guaranteed space in the underground garage, you can reserve one for € 15 per night.
